DECO

Who we are

Inspired by the Art Deco movement, we are bold, daring, bright, and we have faith that technology is the answer to creating communities that cross borders and break boundaries.
DECO stands for; activism, innovation, creation, educational support, and above all, lasting community. At DECO there are no followers, no algorithms, no unjust censorship, and a zero tolerance policy towards racism, prejudices, discrimination, or any displays of hate via speech, action, or discipline.

What we do

DECO invites experts who are interested in uniting, sharing, educating, and offering their services as art makers and creators, fitness and wellness professionals, as well as marketing specialists to collaborate and support one another, thus, providing a space that speaks to integrity, inclusion, and excellence.

Mission

COVID 19 has undoubtedly confirmed something to artists and health professionals around the world about the beliefs of our system and society: that we are non essential. That we are optional. That our work can be put on hold. Yet we know this to be entirely false, and we are here to take back our autonomy and our control by taking our work and our world online.

DECO aims to provide tools and resources to practice and perfect the business of art and the art of business.

DECO is committed to taking what freelancers and artists alike believe to be a “utopia” and make it our new normal. We live in the digital age and we want to take hold of this particular advantage and create space for work that speaks to our cause.

Future projects

Our motivation and prospected future is to provide artists with the opportunity to monetise their content, sell and promote their products, business and services, in efforts to stop the trend of asking and expecting artists and freelancers to work for free and for "exposure”.
By combining our efforts, our long term objective is to; be able to pay artists though our blog earnings, to help create a network allowing freelancers to expand their clientele, and to learn new marketing strategies and skills to strengthen online partnerships and continue to prosper despite restrictions on physical interactions now and in the future.
